Change is afoot at CCANZ

Creative Commons is reorganising itself at the international level. We’re hard at work figuring out what that means for us here in Aotearoa NZ. Stay tuned for more news here, on our mailing list, and in our Loomio group.

NZ copyright law review

We’re excited that the long-promised review of NZ’s copyright law is now underway! MBIE is compiling a mailing list of interested parties, so if you want to be kept up to date, please email CopyrightActReview@mbie.govt.nz

Open Access to NZ health research

The government’s recently published Health Research Strategy 2017-27 includes a commitment that the government will ensure “policies support open access to research findings”. This is a positive step forward and we’ll be working to help make this happen in practice.
