Welcome Chris Cormack to the CCANZ Panel
Creative Commons Aotearoa New Zealand is delighted to welcome Chris Cormack to the Advisory Panel!
Chris is a senior developer at Catalyst IT, and is one of the original developers of the Koha Open Source Library management systems. He is also a passionate enthusiast of using Open Source and Open data for the betterment of Te Iwi Māori and Aotearoa in general.
We look forward to working closely with Chris over the next two years to grow the commons in Aotearoa.
Chris will be taking the place of Karaitiana Taiuru, who has served on the panel since 2013. On behalf of everyone at Creative Commons Aotearoa, we’d like to thank Karaitiana for his help, specifically around the translation of the 4.0 licences into te reo Māori, and the ongoing development of the Indigenous Knowledge notice.
You can learn more about the composition of the Creative Commons Aotearoa New Zealand project, including the current and past members of our Advisory Panel, at our ‘Who We Are’ page.
